Using Design Thinking for more sustainable product design
In this interactive workshop, learn how to make your products more sustainable using Design Thinking methods.

During the workshop, we will focus on environmentally friendly design for products of all kinds – from sports shoes to office chairs to packaging design. By the end, you will be able to apply your new knowledge of circular economy and Design Thinking in your company. Use our approach to make your products more sustainable or to develop new green ideas using Design Thinking strategies.
Content
- Introduction to Design Thinking:
We provide you with a compact introduction to the fundamentals of Design Thinking and explain the various phases of the creative process. - Basics of Circular Economy:
We present the strategies of the circular economy and explain how you can make your products more sustainable using them. - Practical exercises along the Design Thinking process:
In small groups, you will first select a product you want to explore further and then identify the requirements that customers might have for such a product. Together, we will get creative – because in Design Thinking, it can also be utopian! In the final step, you will make your concept tangible for the other groups.
